Award-winning director Paloma Baeza (BAFTA) leads us on an animated journey weaving a creation myth with the ancient lunar symbol of the three hares. Inspired by a story by Hanya Yanagihara and narrated by the voice of Jessie Buckley, the film sees three sisters – air, water, and earth – bring the world to life, later threatened by human greed at war with the moon. The symbol of the three hares resonates as an invitation to sharing and respect for the Earth, with evocative music by Gustavo Santaolalla and Juan Luqui completing this mystical and timely exploration of environmental themes.
